Zachary Penan

Zachary Penan

CEO & Founder

Zach is a high school student in Westchester, New York. Zach witnessed his best friend being bullied in elementary school and saw firsthand the long-term effects it had on him. He is passionate about bringing awareness to social issues that have affected his friends and his community. Zach founded the non-profit Outnumbered to help kids impacted by bullying and to prevent it from occurring. He wrote Outnumbered for his father after hearing stories about his dad's own high school experiences. Growing up in a suburban town just an hour north of New York City, Zach enjoys traveling and spending time with family. He credits his family for shaping him throughout his childhood and thanks his mother, Debra, for her constant support during life's biggest challenges.

Director of Fundraising & Awareness

Julia Penan is a high school student at Blind Brook High School in Westchester, New York. Julia is passionate about helping others in her community and wants to eliminate bullying in her school. Julia works hand in hand with Zach to create awareness against bullying and also breast cancer. Julia has created Pink Warriors, a non profit organization, because her mother battled Breast Cancer during 2018 & 2019. Julia is interested in helping people fight breast cancer and donating to research to find a cure. In her free time, you can find Julia skiing, baking, or walking her dog, Rocky.

Vice President of Marketing & Social Media

Rose is student at Tulane University studying neuroscience. Rose is an engaging advocate for causes she strongly believes in, including cancer awareness, hardships caused by bullying, and NEDA. In her free time, you will find Rose directing at the theater, traveling, and skiing.
